Region 2 – Minnesota

HELPING HANDS is an application that connects students with opportunities in their school and community via smartphone, tablet and computer, providing a way for individuals, student clubs, sport teams, and activity coordinators to post information and manage upcoming events. Our school district has approved our first pilot of the app this fall at two high schools, Mounds View and Irondale, making it available to over 4,000 students. Our vision is that the HELPING HANDS application will change the way high schoolers give, so more people will give back, creating a large social impact.
