Region 5 – Washington DC
Due to the lack of exposure, many high school students become very ignorant and end up basing most of their knowledge on foreign cultures on stereotypes. We plan to expose young students to foreign cultures, so that when they are older they, hopefully, wont base their knowledge on stereotypes but on the facts they learned and experience they had. We believe that exposure is the key to an open mind.
